In an attempt to be more mindful of everyone’s personal lives and mental health, we have created an easier means of requesting deadline extensions:
Please only request deadline extensions in the event of an emergency or an unforeseen circumstance. Examples include family, health, or mental health emergencies, or other unexpected life events. Failure to plan ahead is not an excuse.
Day-of requests will only be granted in extreme circumstances. In instances of such circumstances, we encourage you to contact the corresponding Upper Board member directly.
All Law Review members may submit requests. The Upper Board will consider requests on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, our calendar is fairly inflexible because of the addition of another book to our publication schedule. We will be transparent when explaining our decision to grant or refuse an extension.
